On the edge of Old Katamon prestigious neighborhood, characterized by 1960’s three-story apartment buildings, a building with six units will be replaced by a new five-story luxury residential building. The project, taking advantage of the tree shaded street offers eleven  apartments with shaded wide balconies’ patios and roof terraces. With care, the design in cooperates local motifs as a five floor high sun screen for the apartment’s lobbies, presented on the building’s street elevation. The result is a contemporary expression of apartment buildings  rooted in Jerusalem’s evolution of residential nieghbo rhoods, .
