The Roded Stream Quarter is part of Eilat’s northern expansion, bordering on the South with Roded Stream opposite Kibbutz Eilot and on the north with mountain ridge of  a natural reserve.

The 3,000,000 M² site is planned for approximately 3,500 housing units in a 5-6 story courtyard building clusters, an employment park, commercial hubs, and extensive public facilities and open spaces. The plan uses a grid  of composed of 160 × 80-meter blocks  weaving together mixed housing, public buildings, and green spaces to create a an urban pedestrian oriented urban pattern in a unique natural setting. A central North – south asymmetrical boulevard organizes public buildings, commercial nodes, and parks, intersecting at the neighborhood‘s center with a wide  East – West southern pedestrian promenade shaded by surrounding buildings.
