Home for the Aged, Ramle

Addressing the needs of the aged population of Old Ramleh, the home for senior citizens, of approximately 33,450 m2 with 200 apartments, a variety of public facilities including a health care center, is part of the ongoing renewal process of Ramleh’s city center. The building is massed in two wings of 8 and 17 floors high, built of concrete, masonry and glass above three floors of underground parking. The elevations aim to express the public nature of the building emphasizing communal spaces, balconies, terraces and sun rooms.
