On the edge of the Talbiye neighborhood, characterized by 1950s four-story apartment buildings on pilotis with large shaded balconies, a deteriorating structure with seven units will be replaced by a new five-story luxury residential building. The project, taking advantage of the sloped street, introduces 15 apartments with gardens, large balconies, and roof terraces.

The design incorporates local motifs with care: an open ground floor on pilotis with a shared tenants’ meeting room and lobby; above it, two double-story slabs house apartments with balconies, ironwork, sun screens, and a copper roof. The result is a contemporary expression rooted in the neighborhood’s traditional character.
