Gilo Quarter, Jerusalem

In Jerusalem’s new southern quarter of Gilo, on the slopes facing the Franciscan monastery of Cremisan, a new neighborhood of 600 units is designed to offer urban living in the setting of Jerusalem’s open landscape. The design exploits the site’s steep topography to provide all units open views, private terraced gardens. The Interior roads and buildings are treated as linear landscaped terraces, merging with the natural landscape from distant views.
