Agripas Market, Jerusalem

The unique location of the Agripas Compound near Mahaneh Yehuda Market and the trendy old Nachla’ot neighborhood has dictated a mixed use program for the site.

The complex includes 7 floors, of 25,000 m2 for underground parking, above which three commercial floors of 14,000 m2 are organized as a covered market along Agripas Street. The market stretches along the street, correlates in scale and texture with the traditional row housing of the area.

On top of the market 60 apartments are designed in four buildings totaling 6000 m2, using an open parking deck on the market’s roof. The set back of the apartment buildings, correspond with the city’s skyline.
